its quite easy to add and remove members from a gitlab project, when you're an admin. The blocker in fdroid has always been that the admins are overloaded (currently Ciaran and me). So I think having a separate group will help us since we can have a different pool of admins for it.
Good pointn

we don't accept the "Google SDK License" and other licenses related to proprietary sources
but how can we legally install the license? In other words, actually if we use that sdk we accept the licenses

@proletarius101:matrix.orgproletarius101or you use the sdks but you don't accpet the licenses. that's well known as piracy06:14:38
@eighthave:matrix.org_hc we don't want to use any package where we don't accept the license, that's why we don't use sdkmanager --licenses, but I'm pretty sure that the packages you mentioned use the licenses we do accept 06:15:37
@eighthave:matrix.org_hc Did you compare the values in $ANDROID_HOME/licenses/* to whats in provision-android-sdk? 06:17:11

@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] I've never used the azure instance since they were reorganized and only one was left. I've sticked with OSLU (spelling?) 06:19:29

It turns out to be my misconfiguration of the azure runner. I mount an empty /opt/android-sdk to the runner. But actually we install the sdks directly in to the docker image already (which is good): https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidserver/-/blame/master/buildserver/Dockerfile#L47.

@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]Yup, saw it in the app build files. Maybe more app should use it as we have some apps that git clone stuff in prebuild/build/custom .sh scripts. This way we get to scan them first before building.06:41:56

@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] Old contributors build servers had `tor+http...` as apt sources, so nothing new. I don't recall if I did setup it like this, but it would be something that I do. 06:47:04

Cleared the android sdk volume. There are some strange bugs. Maybe partial downloads
07:04:28
@proletarius101:matrix.orgproletarius101Now I just use the sdks included in the buildserver image and downloading everything not included each time07:04:58
@proletarius101:matrix.orgproletarius101Previously I cached them07:05:23
