| Etherpad widget added by cdesai | 12:43:11 |
cdesai | I added a widget | 12:43:28 |
jochensp | cde: in Matrix? (I can't see that from IRC) | 12:43:54 |
cdesai | yes. let me grab the link | 12:44:02 |
εΉΈη« (πππΎπ/πππΎπ) | why not just use pad.riseup.net? | 12:44:12 |
cdesai | yeah that works too | 12:44:20 |
jochensp | +1 for decentralize | 12:44:42 |
| Etherpad widget removed by cdesai | 12:45:14 |
cdesai | https://pad.riseup.net/p/fdroid-dev-meetings-keep | 12:45:34 |
jochensp | cde: can you add it to the topic? | 12:47:21 |
| cdesai changed the room topic to "#fdroid-dev F-Droid development discussion only | Use #fdroid:f-droid.org for general, app- and repo-related matters | Meeting every Thursday, odd weeks 11:30 UTC even weeks 18:00 UTC | Agenda: https://pad.riseup.net/p/fdroid-dev-meetings-keep | This channel is publicly logged at https://matrix.f-droid.org/alias/%23fdroid-dev:f-droid.org" from "#fdroid-dev F-Droid development discussion only | Use #fdroid:f-droid.org for general, app- and repo-related matters | Meeting every Thursday, odd weeks 11:30 UTC even weeks 18:00 UTC | This channel is publicly logged at https://matrix.f-droid.org/alias/%23fdroid-dev:f-droid.org". | 12:49:47 |
cdesai | it's getting long | 12:49:55 |
desairc | wait is the IRC topic blank? | 12:50:27 |
desairc | jochensp: that look ok? | 12:51:38 |
jochensp | yes, thx :) | 12:51:50 |
| Licaon_Kter left the room. | 13:25:01 |

| 14:43:51 |
jochensp | :D | 15:14:55 |
jochensp | I'm rally unsure about the release and QA process of it, but I don't use it either.. | 15:15:42 |
εΉΈη« (πππΎπ/πππΎπ) | I've heard good things about fairemail. but the whole "netguard (from the same dev) suddenly has ads" left a rather bad impression. | 15:22:16 |
εΉΈη« (πππΎπ/πππΎπ) | (of course I do understand people need income to be able to work on stuff) | 15:23:17 |
linsui | We do not have too much choice. I have used pEp for a long time because it has a modern UI. The AOSP email is also looks better than K-9. The material K-9 is good but discontinued. It seems K-9 looks better now. | 15:30:04 |
εΉΈη« (πππΎπ/πππΎπ) | I just use mutt. on my laptop π
| 15:36:47 |
jochensp | yeah, and over termux ssh :D | 15:38:38 |
jochensp | (but I use K9 otherwise as well) | 15:38:59 |
linsui | I used TB on desktop but it's too slow. There is just no other foss choice on Windows. Currently I stick on FairEmail on Android. Just tried k-9, 5.8 is much more beautiful than before! | 16:03:08 |
jochensp | there are mutt packages for Windows.. | 16:04:27 |
linsui | requires cygwin to be installed. | 16:10:20 |
