@bubuiic:matrix.orgMarcus (old)_hc anyone looked into how the company thing would work with people not from Austria?19:17:25

@Coffee:matrix.orgCoffeeNothing happened f-droid wise this week. December is a busy month with social obligations and things to arrange and stuff.19:18:45
@bubuiic:matrix.orgMarcus (old) Ugh: https://blog.autsoft.hu/a-confusing-dependency/ 19:23:03
@bubuiic:matrix.orgMarcus (old)We touched jcenter/mavencentral on the summit. Not a pretty outcome... :-/19:23:59
@bubuiic:matrix.orgMarcus (old) We basically don't have enough data to even rebuild the packages there. Let alone reproduce. 19:24:09
@eighthave:matrix.org_hc Marcus (BubuIIC): ah, right any other news or reports from the reproducible builds summit? 19:27:19
@eighthave:matrix.org_hc .aar files would require the git repo, but my guess is that lots of Java JARs could be reproduced by building the source JARs 19:31:58
@eighthave:matrix.org_hcsince its just Java files19:32:01
@nico:f-droid.orgNico Alt_hc: cooperative or public benefit corporation sounds good. Please CC me when appropriate, I can image joining one of those.19:32:03
@eighthave:matrix.org_hcsome java projects of course do convoluted things19:32:19
@nico:f-droid.orgNico Alt_hc: There was the idea of providing Repomaker as a Service. Could this be handled by that company?19:32:35
@eighthave:matrix.org_hcsure19:32:44

These are missing the build instructions though. So rebuilding them might just not work and you are back to manually fixing everything.
19:37:13
@eighthave:matrix.org_hcright, but most Java .java files just compile straight to a .class with no tricks19:38:37

@mathijs:matrix.vgorcum.comMathijs does anyone know if the <Files filename> accepts a full path or only the file name? 19:39:03
@bubuiic:matrix.orgMarcus (old)We talked a lot about rebuilders and verification and I got a lot of great input on that19:39:09
@mathijs:matrix.vgorcum.comMathijsin .htaccess for apache19:39:19
@mathijs:matrix.vgorcum.comMathijs(from what I could find it's only the filename, not the path)19:39:40
