E.g. see https://troet.cafe/@memyselfandi/108299518712716585. (Icon, description of another app is displayed.) However, I tried with Discourse and Signal, and previews seem to work fine on both. 17:16:24

@festplattenschnitzel:matrix.orgFestplattenSchnitzel Interestingly: 1) All previews at https://troet.cafe/@memyselfandi 's toots have the same preview, 2) The link when hovering over the preview is always f-droid.org, not the one linked in the post. (Maybe it's the instances fault; a caching issue?) 17:19:16

@_oftc_jochensp:matrix.orgjochenspI guess the Mastodon instance downloads the website behind the link and generates the preview, afaik there is no direct support for that in http/html. So I guess it is a problem with Mastodon17:22:30

@_oftc_Izzy:matrix.orgIzzy Hm, we had this issue before but I don't remember how we solved it: issuebot on MR tries to run the APK scanner but then claims it cannot find it (https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/jobs/2457227572#L496). How was that solved last time? IIRC jochensp fixed something back then… 21:58:39

I need a bit of help debugging:

  1. Just after installing the app, the installing... text changes to an install button again. I need to restart the app for the button to change
  2. Uninstall does not work. I don't know what can be wrong. I don't receive the broadcast back
