@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] > Of F-Droid? 06:03:27
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]Yes06:03:27
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]It means you have the code that fdroid uses to host, so you can host too.06:03:53
@rdfg77:kde.orglinsuiGot it. But I thought it's misleading.06:06:09
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]Why?06:06:26
@rdfg77:kde.orglinsuiAnd third-party is supported because F-Droid is desiged as that.06:06:45
@rdfg77:kde.orglinsui

Everyone can set up a custom repository. Like the apps F-Droid distributes, all its code is free and libre, too.
This sounds like all the code if the custom repository is free and libre.

@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] It's not about that 06:07:51
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]Nope, it only talks about fdroid and fdroid code.06:08:24
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] > Everyone can set up a custom repository with whatever inside. Like the apps F-Droid distributes, all the code allowing you to host is free and libre, too. 06:09:29
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] There's a dot separating the two ideas :) 06:10:01
@rdfg77:kde.orglinsuiYes, because there is a dot, I don't know what this sentence what to talk about. I feel that suddenly it tells me something is free but I don't know why it says that so I don't know what it talks about.06:11:49
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]Not sure I follow...06:30:43
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] "You can setup repos DOT The code is free DOT" 06:31:11
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] Where's the confusion? 06:31:11
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]_Lost in translation_ :)06:31:40
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]It talks about how _fdroid hosts, YOU can host TOO, look, the code is free!_06:32:22

Yes, I understand. But it doesn't say what code is free so I'm confused at the first glance.
06:33:44
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] The fdroid code to host is free, that's the "its" 06:34:30
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp]_You can host too because the code that allows you to do it is free too_06:35:20
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] But I'm repeating myself from above. 06:35:51
@_oftc_Licaon_Kter[xmpp]:matrix.orgLicaon_Kter[xmpp] I guess the confusion is about "fdroid", is it hard to understand "you can have your own fdroid" in the text? 06:36:53
@rdfg77:kde.orglinsuiWhen it says that custom repo can be setup, the first thing came into my mind is that F-Droid supports third-party repo. Well, this is mostly a client-side feature. With this in my mind, I find that it talks about some code. Ok, so it's not related to F-Droid. Then what's "it"? I'm confused here. When I re-read the sentence, I found that maybe the "it" means the F-Droid in the same sentence.06:39:02
